A4 Folders: Presentation Done the Right Way

A4 folders are also known as presentation folders, which can also be found in different sizes, such as A5 and A6, but the A4 size is still the most common and popular. Presentation folders are usually made from PVC plastic. They can be available in high gloss or leather effect PVC. They are extremely durable and hard wearing, able to withstand sustained use for several years. The folders are stiffened by having light but hard board placed between the PVC layers that make up the front and back parts of the folder. There can also be padding or cushioning in the PVC cladding.

Pockets are often located inside the front and back leaves of presentation folders for holding sheets of paper that can be removed easily and quickly. Velcro spots and press studs, as well as other additional item can also sometimes be found inside standard presentation folders. Presentation folders are usually made of two-hole or four-hole types. This means that the loose leafs of paper they hold requires either two or four holes in the spine in order to be secured by the folder. At a recent promotional products association tradeshow it was revealed that approximately 95 percent of business’s surveyed, reported utilising promotional products at their events and tradeshows. The reason business’s use these products are simple; they work. The one area where promotional products are, perhaps, better that t.v adverts is their ability to promote a sense of goodwill; adverts cannot hand you a tangible present.

Promotional Products Association International have said, in the past, that businesses who use promotional products are twice as likely to be contacted as those that do not.

Promotional products, then, are established as an effective advertising medium; one of the best, in fact. But why tax disc holders instead of, say, a pen? Precisely because a pen is the first example of a promotional product that pops into mind when thinking of an example to cite in an article such as this. Similarly, key rings, caps and t-shirts all crop up as cliché promotional gimmicks. They are effective, that much is already established, but what they are not is unconventional and off the beaten track.
